Privacy Policy

Short version: We collect your email to log you in and store your egg data so it syncs across devices. We don't sell your data, show you ads, or track you across other apps. That's it.

Who we are

What we collect

We collect only what's needed for the app to work:

Email address — used to create and authenticate your account. We use passwordless sign-in: we email you a magic link, no password stored.
Egg log data — the egg counts, colors, dates, and breed attributions you enter. This is the core data the app exists to store.
Coop and flock data — coop names, bird breeds, nicknames, and bird types (chicken/duck/quail) you add during setup.
Attribution rules — any custom color-to-breed rules you configure.

We do not collect your name, phone number, location, contacts, or any device sensor data.

How we store it

Your data is stored in Supabase, a cloud database service hosted in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We use Supabase's Row Level Security to ensure you can only access your own data.

Authentication tokens are stored locally on your device using encrypted storage. We never store your email alongside your egg data in a way that would link your identity to your production history for any third party.

Push notifications

If you enable daily reminders, notifications are scheduled locally on your device. No notification data is sent to our servers. You can disable reminders at any time in the app's Settings screen.

Shared coops

If you join a shared coop, other coop members can see the egg logs contributed to that coop. Coop members do not see your full email address — only a masked partial identifier is shown in the member list.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services:

Supabase — database, authentication, and storage. Supabase Privacy Policy

We do not use advertising SDKs, analytics platforms, crash reporters, or any other third-party tracking services.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Full stop.

We may disclose data if required by law, but we have no commercial relationship with data brokers of any kind.

Your rights

You can:

Export your data at any time using the Export / Report feature inside the app.
Request full deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing hello@indiesoft.app. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

Children

Chicken Math is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13 years of age.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
